It was obvious that our host and chef, Rossana, loves to cook, and she also enjoys sharing her love with others. My wife and I enjoyed a multi-course 'Tour of Italy' dinner prepared by our host. I can truthfully say that this was not just a meal. It was a wonderful experience, accompanied by warm conversation and the opportunity to learn about the beautiful city that our host also loves so much. We understand that Rossana also offers cooking classes ‐ a window into Italian cuisine. If the meal she served us is anything to go by, I would highly recommend taking cooking classes from Rossana. I am certain you will enjoy the experience and will learn how to cook wonderful Italian dishes.

I had the pleasure of dining at Rosanna’s home during my time in Florence, and I’m at a loss for words to describe how incredible the experience was. This dinner ranks at the top of my list for memorable moments in Italy.
From the moment we stepped into Rosanna’s home, it was evident that every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the exquisite tiles on the floor to the wallpaper in her guest restroom. Her warm welcome, complete with a hug and two kisses on the cheek, made us feel like we were part of her extended family.
As we chatted in her kitchen, I was amazed by how she effortlessly moved around, preparing our dishes with a calm and graceful demeanor. It was as if she had a full team of staff supporting her, but it was Rosanna alone who orchestrated this culinary masterpiece.
When she led us to our seats, the combination of classical music and wine set the perfect ambiance, immersing us in a delightful culinary trance. Rosanna had prepared a well-designed menu that perfectly accommodated our dietary restrictions. Her meals took us on a journey through the diverse regions of Italy, culminating in a beautiful tribute to her Sicilian roots.
The arancino stuffed with tenderness and warmth was a superb start to our culinary adventure. The pasta that followed was flawlessly cooked and complemented by the wild boar ragù, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors.
The grand finale, Rosanna’s cannolo, brought tears of joy to my eyes. The sweet notes of cream, chocolate, and candied fruit were an unforgettable crescendo to our meal.
To top it off, Rosanna’s kindness extended beyond the dinner table, as she gifted us some delightful treats for our journey back home. I can’t wait for the opportunity to dine at her home again on our next trip to Florence. Rosanna truly offers an extraordinary dining experience that I will cherish forever.
